CLIENT: Give!Guide
Give!Guide was launched by the award-winning Portland weekly Willamette Week to promote holiday-season donations to area non-profits. Initially, Give!Guide rewarded donors at different levels by mailing them print coupons for local businesses. Starting in 2014 we began delivering thank you gifts through the Chinook Book app. Now, Give!Guide just sends an email to the donor with an Activation Code, and the donor can easily unlock their coupon rewards in our app. In the past two years, several thousand donors have used the Chinook Book app to take advantage of their "thank you" gift.

The utility used to mail printed coupon booklets to all of their residential customers. Initially we worked with the utility to offer the same offers in the Chinook Book app. Due to program effectiveness and customer feedback, beginning in 2015 the utility moved to a mobile-first delivery model for its green power discounts, saving both paper and money in the process.

In the first year, they produced both a printed coupon booklet for visitors and made the same offers available in the Chinook Book app. Due to the exceptional performance and cost-effectiveness of the app, the printed coupon booklet was discontinued and mobile distribution through the Chinook Book app became the primary offer delivery platform.
